Why???

Why do people insist on being idiots? Can someone please answer that question for me? Here's is my story for the day. I had to work up in Sellersburg, IN today. I am from Shepherdsville, KY. To get to Shepherdsville, KY from Sellersburg, IN you have to take I-65. So on my route home on Interstate 65 at 4:30 PM (Rush Hour) I am driving along in the fast lane so that all the other cars and get off the the over crowded ramps. And folks as I was driving I looked over the right and spotted a yellow moped on the interstate with a white car following it with it's hazards on. I just don't understand what people's thought process is here. They had traffic backed up who knows how far and the lady in the car was giving directions to the teenage girl on the moped via hand signals so the girl wasn't even watching the road half the time not that she really need to because she was doing 25 and everyone else was doing 60. I don't maybe I am the stupid one. I mean can they not see the sign on the ramps with the vehicle restrictions. Well any way thought that I would just vent a little bit.
